Nestled in the heart of Essex, our Clubhouse on Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood, serves as the home base for rugby enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. At Old Brentwoods, rugby is more than just a game—it’s a community. We uphold the core values of the sport: integrity, respect, teamwork, and enjoyment. Whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the sport, we have a place for you. Our adult teams train on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
It’s an honour and a privilege to be selected as the captain of the 1XV, and something I hold with great pride! I plan on leading the team with energy, fairness and respect. We’ve created a set of team values and I will lead by example in everything I do, on and off the pitch.
I was present at the very first conversations in The Rising Sun about starting an OBRFC youth section and have been involved ever since!
Day 1 of the Acorns is still a very special memory. Not many clubs can boast having an England RWC Winner (and a rather good one in Richard Hill!) help launch their club!
