Ian Waite (aka The Judge) – Executive V.P

Now semi-retired from his print business which he joined from University. During his long career in ‘The Print’ he worked on several British Printing Federation Committees. Ian joined the Society of Old Brentwoods in 1970 and has fulfilled a number of Committee roles within the SoBs since then, including being elected President in 2011. He played his first game of rugby for OBRFC in 1970 and finally retired from playing in 2001. Along the way he has fulfilled many roles within our club – President; Chair; Club Captain; Social Secretary; Tour Organiser; Discipline Chair etc. When not involved in helping with our Rugby Club’s admin he enjoys spending time with his wife, Gilli, mucking about in boats and trying to entertain 5 young grandchildren who are scattered around the country.
